How to make an appointment with a GP
Accessing routine appointments with a GP at the practice within a reasonable timeframe is not possible at this time.
This situation is untenable for our 15,600 patients. The GP Partners wish to ensure that our patients are able to access safe & timely healthcare for Urgent and Non Urgent (Routine) conditions.
All requests to see a GP will be managed by clinical telephone triage.
Priority will be given to clinical need.
Please TELEPHONE Only - Monday to Friday on a day that is convenient for you.
- Telephone Before 12noon for Urgent or Routine appointments - You will be added to the list to be triaged by a clinician. When the Clinician calls you they will determine a suitable course of action, which may include offering you an appointment on the day or a future date. This will enable you to make any arrangements necessary for your appointment. Including for example; transport.
- Telephone After 12noon for Urgent/Acute Medical Healthcare Emergency (conditions which cannot wait until the following day). You will be added to the triage list. The Clinician will determine a suitable course of action.
Please make yourself available to answer a callback from the Clinician at any time. We are not able to specify a time for the call.
In order that the Clinician who is calling you can prioritise the calls you will be asked to provide some information as to why you need to see the GP and confirm an up to date contact number.
We regret that we are unable to offer GP Online appointment bookings as a result of these arrangements.
